Biography

Sarah Ciriello provides administrative support for Professors Juejun Hu, James LeBeau, Caroline Ross, and their research groups as well as the Undergraduate Academic Office. In her previous role at MIT, she provided administrative support for Professors Geoffrey Beach, Rafael Jaramillo, Julia Ortony, and Carl Thompson and their research groups. Before joining the department in summer 2017, Ciriello was the office manager at Caritas Communities, a nonprofit housing management organization in Braintree, Massachusetts; executive assistant to the director at the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence in Boston; assistant to the director at The Winsor School in Boston; office services specialist at the University of Connecticut in Storrs; and administrative assistant and editor at the William Monroe Trotter Institute for the Study of Black Culture at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, traveling, long walks, and volunteering at an animal shelter. She has two degrees from UMass Boston: a bachelor’s in sociology, black studies and women’s studies and a master’s degree in education.
