Biography

Mike Coniglione provides faculty affairs support for DMSE, assisting with the department’s faculty search and promotion processes. He also manages all DMSE Visiting Student appointments and supports a range of other human resources functions. In June 2026, Coniglione was recognized for his work with the School of Engineering’s Infinite Mile Award.

In addition to his work in DMSE, Coniglione volunteers as an assistant coach for the MIT Women’s Volleyball team, where he previously served as an assistant for seven years. During that time, he also worked as assistant director of member services for MIT Recreation. He enjoys attending concerts, playing golf, and relaxing at home with his cats, Ollie and Scout.
