Biography
Victoria Bautista oversees numerous financial tasks and assists the senior financial officer in managing DMSE’s finance team. Bautista started her MIT research finance career in 2015, when she joined the MIT Office of Sponsored Programs as a member of the Post-Award Operations Team. In 2016, Bautista became a data administrator, reviewing, setting up, and maintaining all sponsored program awards in the Kuali Coeus electronic system. Bautista joined the grants and contract team at Research Administration Services (RAS) as an assistant contract administrator in 2019. During her time with RAS, she managed all phases of sponsored awards, coordinated compliance reviews, and collaborated with others on identifying areas for process improvement and creating training manuals and reference guides for central office staff.
