Biography

Laura von Bosau supports 3.091 (Introduction to Solid-State Chemistry), a high-enrollment general institute requirement class, by coordinating administrative activities and performing operational duties. She joined MIT Research Laboratory of Electronics as an administrative assistant in 1993 to provide faculty support, becoming affiliated with DMSE in 2015 through working for Professor Jeffrey Grossman and his research group as well as with 3.091; she formally joined DMSE in 2021. Outside of work, she is a fluent Tarot card reader and studies Tarot practices and structure. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially if it involves hunting through used bookstores for new finds. Von Bosau has a bachelor’s degree in English through Boston University’s Metropolitan College, graduating summa cum laude.
