Biography
Rebecca Shepardson handles all aspects of the DMSE undergraduate program, in addition to working with the MIT Registrar’s Office on such things as scheduling, subject descriptions, catalog updates, grades and evaluations for DMSE. She has worked at MIT since 1999, first as an assistant in the pre-CSAIL Lab for Computer Science, then as an undergraduate academic administrator in Comparative Media Studies/Writing program, and as academic administrator for the New Engineering Education Transformation Program. She also worked part time as an editorial assistant for the theoretical computer science journal Information & Computation from 2000 to 2019. She has a bachelor’s degree from New College of Florida and a master’s in applied linguistics from Boston University.
