Sandra A. Crawford

Biography

Sandra A. Crawford manages all administrative functions for Professor Lionel Kimerling’s Initiative for Knowledge and Innovation in Manufacturing (IKIM) group. Before October 2022, Crawford supported several faculty groups in DMSE, coordinating faculty and student travel arrangements, visiting-scholar appointments, procurement of lab and office supplies, and managing research and discretionary spending. She joined DMSE in 2012 after 15 years at the MIT Sloan School of Management in a similar role for marketing faculty groups. Recreationally, Crawford enjoys dancing, aerobic exercise, and traveling to warm climates, especially to her original home of Barbados. She holds a master’s degree in conflict management from the University of Massachusetts Boston and is a member of MIT’s Quarter Century Club.
