The DMSE Digest has news about DMSE faculty, students, postdocs, and staff; stories about research and media mentions; and department and Institute events. Formed from hundreds of inscribed and hammered steel plates called wishmarks, Rhea Vedro’s sculpture “Amulet” is installed in Boston City Hall Plaza. Harry Tuller is honored by ISSI for his exemplary work in solid-state ionics and Iwnetim Abate is recognized for his outstanding mentorship of graduate students.
