Yet-Ming Chiang has been named to The Boston Globe’s Tech Power Players list of leaders in technology and business. This is his fourth time appearing on the list. Honorees are selected by Boston Globe journalists based on their economic and regional impact.

Chiang pointed to key areas driving innovation in the region: “Hard tech in three areas—AI-driven power demand, critical minerals supply chains, and defense technology—are having a moment in the Boston tech scene.”

He is one of four MIT affiliates included this year, joining MIT President Sally Kornbluth, Regina Barzilay of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Daniela Rus of MIT CSAIL, and Max Tegmark of the Department of Physics.
