Prof. Allanore receives Elsevier Atlas Award

Professor Antoine Allanore's previously published paper on the uses of potassium feldspar as fertilizer ("Local fertilizers to achieve food self-sufficiency in Africa") has been awarded an Elsevier Atlas. Professor Allanore's research focused on developing local and affordable fertilizers in Africa to combat undernourishment.

Every month, a single Atlas article is selected from published research from across Elsevier's 3,800 journals hosted at ScienceDirect; Atlas articles showcase research that can (or already has) significantly impacted people's lives around the world.
