Alumni Honors

Two alumni have recently received awards:
Prof. Greg Olson, SB 1970, SM 1970, and ScD 1974, of Northwestern University, was elected to the National Academy of Engineering, "For contributions to research, development, implementation, and teaching of science-based design of materials."
Prof. Cody Friesen, Ph.D. 2004, of Arizona State University, received ASU's Young Alumni Achievement Award. Prof. Friesen's research centers on the development of ultra-high-energy metal-air batteries that use advanced ionic fluids.
