Biography

Ximena Hasbach coordinates the FORGE Initiative, DMSE’s alumni relations and professional development program. She has been in the role since September 2021, and as a DMSE alum herself, is excited to help strengthen the wider DMSE community. In addition to her work with FORGE, she conducts research on resilient polymer membranes in Professor Jeffrey Grossman’s research group and has degrees in materials science and engineering from MIT and Stanford. Outside of work, she enjoys baking sweet and savory treats and playing board games with family and friends.
