Biography

Magdalena Rieb directs DMSE operations including human resources, finance and grants administration, facilities, academic administration, and events. She has been managing DMSE administration since 2017 and prior to that worked as the senior financial officer for the dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Previously, Rieb was administrative officer for MIT Comparative Media Studies/Writing program. She is a teacher by training and holds a double master’s degree in linguistics and philology from Palacky University Olomouc in the Czech Republic and a graduate certificate in fundraising from Boston University.
