Biography

Casey Johnson manages the DMSE human resources team and oversees all aspects of the departmental human resources—workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, complex research and international appointments, employee relations, and engagement. Before joining the department in 2018, she held various roles at MIT in human resources, program coordination, and event planning. Casey enjoys walking around campus, meeting new people, and collaborating with colleagues. She holds a SHRM-CP certificate and has a bachelor’s degree from a small college in New York.
