Biography

Amanda Bendzel assists in managing the DMSE Graduate Academic Office. Before starting in April 2022, she was a faculty assistant for multiple DMSE faculty members. Previously, Bendzel was the center director at math tutoring franchise Mathnasium, where she managed everything from curriculum instruction to parent update meetings. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time learning about new and old areas of thought in philosophy and science and getting her houseplants to thrive. She has a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University in New York.
