The most
prominent site for nanotechnology research in the Department
is the NanoMechanical
Technology Lab. The "NanoLab" is used by researchers
throughout MIT and is located on the first floor of the
Infinite Corridor.
Across
from the NanoLab is DMSE's Undergraduate
Teaching Lab in which students learn about photonic crystals made from
nanoparticles.
