MITEI awards nine Seed Fund grants for early-stage energy research

Prof Sadoway was awarded for his project Aluminum Polymer Battery for Automobile Propulsion, and Prof Yildiz for her work in the project Design of Meta-Oxide Surfaces for Fast Oxygen Exchange in Fuel Cells, Synthetic Fuel Production and Separation Membranes

"The MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI) has made nine awards totaling $1.3 million under its annual Seed Fund Program. Winning teams across campus will use the grants — in amounts of up to $150,000 each — to support early-stage innovative research across the energy spectrum." - MITEI Office of Communications
