Wristify wins first place in 2013 MADMEC

Congratulations to Wristify, GeckoLight, and PolySolar! MADMEC is a competition for student teams to design and build prototypes that solve a sustainability problem using materials science. First Place, $10,000, went to Wristify for their thermo-electric bracelet that acts as a personal heating or cooling device. GeckoLight took Second Place, $6,000, for a rechargeable LED that can be mounted anywhere. PolySolar was awarded Third Place, $4,000, for a flexible solar cell.
