Ayse Asatekin, a 2009 graduate of the Mayes and Rubner labs, is an assistant professor at Tufts University. Professor Asatekin’s research focuses on development of membranes for clean water and energy-efficient separations. Prior to starting at Tufts, Professor Asatekin co-founded Clean Membranes, Inc and completed a post-doc in the Gleason lab at MIT.
LaShanda Korley, a 2005 graduate of the Hammond and McKinley labs, is the Climo Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University. Professor Korley’s research focuses on the development of mechanically-enhanced, multifunctional polymeric materials. Prior to starting at Case Western, Professor Korley completed a post-doc at Cornell University.
Jordi Mata-Fink, a 2013 graduate of the Wittrup lab, is a senior associate at Flagship VentureLabs. VentureLabs focuses on launching companies in the areas of health technologies, therapeutics and sustainability. Dr. Mata-Fink is also a founder of Editas Medicine and Rubius Therapeutics.
Armon Sharei, a 2013 graduate of the Jensen and Langer labs, is the CEO of SQZ Biotech. SQZ Biotech is a cell therapy company for cancer therapies. Prior to joining SQZ Biotech, Dr. Sharei completed a post-doc at Harvard Medical School.
